4:00 p.m. Learning Activities–each child chooses blocks, puzzles, sensory, etc.
4:20 p.m. Infant/Toddler Snack feeding time/or just my time again
4:30 p.m. Toileting, diaper changes, learning to wash my hands
4:40 p.m. Spanish flash cards & 1 on 1 time (if I’m a good Listener)
5:00 p.m. Afternoon Snack - Merienda/I’m hungry again!!
5:10 p.m. Toileting, diaper changes, learning to wash my hands
5:15 p.m. Prepare for home, quiet time activities or educational TV
5:30 p.m. CLOSED FOR THE DAY! Adios Hasta mañana !!
Please note this is a broad description of an actual day. Different activities are implemented for each individual’s stage and age. Depending on the needs of the children and weather, schedules are very flexible and may vary. Each child will be encouraged, but not forced to participate in the daily activities. The children’s learning will be encouraged to be self-directed, which has been proven to be the best way for them to learn.
